Bet on it

In every single field you come across, you will find yourself being denied of opportunities, of positions, of the ability to participate in activities, but that doesn’t have to be your destiny. It sucks when we are at the receiving end of it and it hurts when we are denied countless and multiple times but you have to hold on to your faith and learn to bet on yourself. You can’t get down on yourself or feel sorry for yourself, even if it is the opportunity you want, you have to understand that things have a way of turning themselves around, of coming back around when it’s time. It may not be time right now but that doesn’t mean you stop working.

You have to keep working, no matter what. It doesn’t matter if you are denied 100 times, it doesn’t matter if you are denied 400 times, it will happen. And if there is nothing you do to move on you will remain stuck. Just because one thing does not work out doesn’t mean nothing will. Always stand your ground and keep applying, keep reaching out and more importantly, keep working on yourself; keep building no matter how many people deny you, shut you out and tell you you are no good, it is their opinion not your reality.

Sometimes people will tell you no or deny you of opportunities or tell you something is impossible because they didn’t believe in themselves enough to do it, that doesn’t mean you can’t. You can do ANYTHING, as long as you believe and bet on yourself and God, you will be okay.

Lesson: Believe in yourself even when no one else does- this is your life not theirs.
